I’m not telling you to blackout your business...that would be foolish.

I’m telling you to grab a good inky pen and some crisp paper on occasion and start romanticizing the analog.

Overall, it’s been a good one for me.

I spent SO much time in my garden, fixing up our 1950s home, and cooking to my heart’s content.

I struck a good balance with my freelance copywriting business, but I’m eager to take on more projects in 2025.

Here’s to 2024 - a year of flow…and flowers. 💐

Nothing like studying on a Sunday 📚 ☕️

I’ve been working with herbs for a few years but only recently chose to undergo more “formal” training.

I use quotes here because there really is no such thing as an official herbalism certification…

In fact, in the U.S., it’s illegal to practice professional herbalism, i.e., diagnose and treat others with herbs and/or market herbs as medicinal “cures.”

So really, I’m choosing to learn the growing methods and medicinal applications of hundreds of different herbs just to treat myself and my family - worth it!

I’m currently enrolled in an intensive, year-long self-study program: Rosemary Gladstar’s Science & Art of Herbalism.

Alternative health is a passion of mine, but it’s also an increasingly lucrative field for freelance copywriters.

The coolest thing about freelancing is the freedom to dig into your interests, acquire tons of niche knowledge, and make money writing about your passions.
